Masters of the Universe Review
It seems to be the season for reviving old childhood favourites. There’s the recent mortal combat movie, the upcoming street fighter movie, and of course Masters of the Universe. In case you missed this growing up, Masters of the Universe revolves around Prince Adam of Eternia who, with the help…

Ōoku: The Inner Chambers Review
I really enjoy a good rear palace based period drama. I was first introduced to it with The Legend of Zhen Huan and was captivated by all the power politics and scheming, even if the endings were often tragic. So when I came across Ooku, I was immediately intrigued. The…

Boyfriend on Demand Eps 9-10 – The Final Stretch
‘The Happy Ever After‘ Finally, Kyeong-min and Mi-rae get together and, after a last few minor bumps in the road, get their happy ending. Honestly, once Mi-rae had emotionally healed enough to be open to an actual relationship, the Boyfriend on Demand concept was pretty much worn out as a plot…

Contrary to my expectations and despite the tantalizing cliffhanger it left her on, she doesn’t immediately…

Boyfriend on Demand Ep 3 – First Love Revisited
‘The College Hero‘ From a chaebol romance fantasy to the blush of first love, Mi-rae’s next foray into virtual dating takes her back to a college campus where she catches the eye of Big Man on Campus, Seo Eun-ho. Eun-ho is the star of the college kumdo team and the…

Project Hail Mary Review
Would you sacrifice yourself to save humanity? What if it was between sacrificing yourself for an outside chance of saving the world, or living for another 20-odd years knowing that most of the population is doomed at the end of that period? That is the choice facing Dr. Ryland Grace,…
